Know Your Rights Trainings 

CAIR-Austin offers seminars and training sessions on a wide variety of
topics to educate the Muslim community. Topics covered in a “Know Your
Rights” training session include: Your rights in the workplace, as a
student, while traveling, and with law enforcement & the FBI.

Mosque Safety & Bystander Intervention Trainings 
This training teaches community members how to keep themselves safe
in incidents of anti-Muslim bias, and how to respond without escalating
danger in situations of public harassment and violence.

Civic Engagement

CAIR-Austin works to improve the engagement of the Muslim community
with their local, state, and federal representatives on issues that matter.
We also offer opportunities to learn more about the importance of voting and voting rights.
